stokie dave wrote: hi, i sent atos an email as i have completed my esa50 form and have collected a non medical evidence report, and i have a full indepth report from cab (but this was done 2 years ago and i am showing that my condition has actually deteriated since then) i have seen my GP and he has requested his secretary to do me a full report and i seen my psychiatrist yesterday and again a full report has been sanctioned by him from his secretary, i then noticed that no way would this all fit into the envelope provided so after reading on hear that someone requested a larger envelope i thought i would do the same and i also requested a 7 day extension to my deadline as it was holiday period and i needed to get hospital reports etc and my deadline is 7th january. they emailed me back and refused an extension as they dont set the deadline dates and also refused a larger envelope as the envelope provided is large enough for the esa50 form and any other letters should be sent seperately and paid for by me. i will not send anything seperate as i just know it would get lost so another tip i may try is tapeing another envelope to theirs as reported on this forum. any way i am nearly ready but i will probably still wait till last minute to return it.
Please see the following FAQs
How long do I have to complete the ESA50?
ESA50 too big for the envelope
I do not recommend our waiting to the last minute to return your ESA50, if it can be avoided, you run the very real risk of your claim being closed due to your failing to return it in time, and whilst this can usually be sorted out, it may take months before this can be achieved.
Also you should take account of the delays due to the Christmas and New Year Bank Holidays.
