thanks for the reply, as you said on asking for an appeal there is an automatic reconsideration prior to an appeal taking place.
At this point when I send in my appeal form stating why I beleive I should be in the SG and giving the revelent decriptors that I beleive I have forfilled, if I send medical paperwork with the GL24 so the DM can see there is something on paper to back up my claim ... at this point could there be a change of decision to what group I am placed in ?
Have read the appeal form, contacted CAB office that helped me with filling in the esa50 form and was told that they do not go to appeals ... so who or where are these kind people who represent us at an appeal tribunal ? if one is needed.

Yes, the reason a Reconsideration is done is to see whether the Decision can be changed, so it is perfectly possible for the current Decision to be overturned, it is only if it can not be revised that your papers are passed to the Tribunal Service.
You can try Googling "welfare advice" and your town and county to see if you can find an advisor who can help you with an appeal, however, the Government has removed legal aid for claimants appealing to the lower Tribunal, so it may be difficult to find someone.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
