I want to thank all on this website for all the info provided my husband has just had a letter confirming he has been placed in the support group without the need for a medical I do not think we could have managed to fill in all the forms and would not have provided all of his medical evidence if it was not for advice on this site once again a big thank you

Thank you for posting to let us know, thanks also for your kind words regarding our site.
If you wish to know the expected length of The SG award before hubby will be reassessed again you can request copy of the ESA85A Medical Report which should include the prognosis.
It should also indicate how and why he was placed into The SG.
You can request this over the phone by ringing the Benefits Office number on the SG award letter, we advise that you should back this up in writing.
