Failed PCA was created by Sinan
After 15 years of getting IB for Anxiety/Panic Attacks and Depression and meeting the DWPs points requirements each PCA, I failed the latest one by getting 0 points.....zilch......nada.

As you can imagine my Anxiety has gone through the roof and as such, I don't feel I will be able to go through an Oral Hearing. So, I was thinking I might try a Paper only appeal. I appreciate that this does not have as good a success rate as an oral hearing but I feel it is my only option.

Has anyone had any experience of a paper only hearing? Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

The main thing you need to be aware of, if you request a Paper hearing from the outset, is that you only have one month from the date of evidence packet that you will receive, if the DWP Reconsideration does not change the Decision, in which to submit your evidence and any submission.

Also, as there is no opprtunity for you to clarify what you have submitted, through any questioning that might be made at an Oral hearing, you need to ensure that your content is as complete as possible, easy to understand and does not make assumptions that could lead to the panel misunderstanding what you have written.

I hope this helps
