Hi All,

I have tried looking through previous posts and cannot see what i was looking for, so thought would try a new one.

Having recieved the esa50 just before christmas, transfer from ib to esa lovely and very stressful present, i contacted welfare rights, who kindly came an filled out the form for me, as i could not bare to look at since it had arrived, i had though wrote on paper my conditions, rrms, depression and chronic back pain, ten plus years, my medication and how i was affected. They did ask me things as we went along.

They said luck through and amend where i thought necessary, as they had another appointment to go, i was really shocked and disappointed at how things were done, some i thought were over the top and some was not very explanatory, i felt like screwing it up, but time is not on my side, i have looked on this site and all looks very helpful, but i thought i could not do it myself, its all very overwhelming.

Does it matter if i scribble out an added bits and crossed things off, as i have already done this and then thought, will it go against me, i am sending in some additional letters, can they be copies or do they have to be originals, i am going to send of 5 days before the due date, is this enough time for them to recieve it?

As i have a pulse i expect to get 0 points, if so do i have to go and phsyically sign on, or do i get a sick note, and what happens then, i am so scared, but not alone i know, people might think i am negative, but then i just might not be as disappointed,.

Thanks

It is better to amend the form raher than allowing it to be submitted if it is not correct.

5 days should be enough time to get it in, make sure you send it by recorded delivery - or get proof of postage at the very least.

Should you be denied ESA then you can appeal - but let's cross that bridge when we come to it as it could be months before you get a decision!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
