Housing Benefit and reinstated ESA was created by Dizzy
Hi, thanks to the help I receive from the guides on here I successfully appealed my ESA decision and was placed into the support group. this means I have received over £ 2000 back payment. while I was not receiving any money I claimed Housing benefit, obviously I have now stopped this, but my question is, as I have received all this back payment, will I have to pay back the housing benefit I received?

Hi D,

Well done on being placed into The SG at your appeal !!! :woohoo:

I am afraid that we do not give advice on HB, it would depend on your personal circumstances, which obviously cannot be discussed on an open forum :)

My best advice would be to contact CAB or some similar advice agency, see :

Where to get advice?

Or put Welfare Rights/Advice with your Town/Postcode into you Internet search engine.
