Hi I've just received a letter from ATOS to attend a medical on a Saturday @ 14.10 I can't believe it that these people conduct medicals on a Saturday don't they ever give it a rest, I realise that I have to attend the medical and that I could re-arrange the date what the heck I have got to travel 30 miles each way what ever day of the week just cannot believe it's a Saturday, well enough about that can you give me any advice when attending the medical.

With so many companies working 7 days a week, I don't think it is unreasonable that ATOS should be carrying out assessments at weekends - this allows for people who have working companions that would other wise be unable to accompany them to the assessments.
As to what to expect, this FAQ might be of help. Remember that you shold cnsder that the assessment starts as soon as you near the asessment centre and does not finish untl you are out of visual range again.
