DLA1 questions

I have a 38 page DLA1 form to fill in, makes the esa50 look small in size, however I have a few questions to ask if anyone can throw a light on them.
After filling this form in is it lightly that I will get a medical at home or be asked to attend a medical centre ?
Or as I had a paper medical (ESA) then put into WRAG (cb) are they lightly to look at the info generated on the ESA85A or the ESA113 to form an opinion on my dla claim ?
Anyone filled in this long form has any experience of what happens after you submit this form, I will enclose some medical consultants letters even thow they are old regarding one of my conditions, also have some up to date letters which I will tag into the DLA1, maybe they will help as DLA & ESA seem to be seperate arms of the system.
I am not sure if its possible to get DLA without a medical ? anyone has any experience would be happy to hear.

Most, but not all, DLA medicals are held in the claimants home

It is perfecty possible, and legal, for the DWP to use medical information generated by your ESA claim to decide your DLA one.

A DWP Decision Maker will review your claim, if an assessment is ordered they will use the results of this, otherwise it may be your ESA documents, in both cases they should review your DLA forms and any evidence you have sent with them.
Decisions usually take 11-13 weeks.

It is still possible to be awarded DLA without a medical, although it is rarer than in previous years. It is also possible to be rejected without a medical taking place.
If you have not already done so, please refer to the DLA guides in the Members area.
