Hi,
Any thoughts on the following would be gratefully received:
I am trying to prepare for my IB to ESA transfer a bit ahead of time (because with my disabilities it takes me ages to complete forms and I have a number of up and coming treatments and family obligations to contend with over the next few months which will drain so much of my litte energy reserves)...
My IB ''review date is in 7 weeks' time, when I understand that I am likely to be transferred to ESA, and I have no idea, of course, which version of the ESA50 (new or old) will be sent to me. Nevertheless, I'd like to complete at least some of the form ahead of time; can I choose to download the new version form from the Internet and submit that, even if when I receive an ESA50 it may well be the old version of the ESA50? (From reading the information on this site I understand that the DWP may still send out old forms to use up supplies.)

In principle. yes.
However, by doing so you will be assessed using the new Desriptors and Regulations, where as if you are sent the old ESA50 you should only be assessed using the new Regulations, providing that a Decision is made before the end of July, if ater, then it will not make a difference either way.
