esa tribunal hearing

hi i have a esa tribunal hearing on the 20th february at sutton its so close now and i am becoming increasingly anxious.i have sent a number of hospital letters in along with consultant gp reports and cpn reports i was told by cab i have preety srong case but am so worried and feel sick about going.any advice please.

Looking back at K's previous posts, it seems that the original adverse decision was circa April 2012, see :

The wait for an appeal hearing can vary regionally, and of course when you initially submit an appeal, you will first receive a reconsideration by a different DWP DM. The reconsiderations are taking weeks if not months in some cases at the moment, so it's hard to say.

If the adverse decision that K appealed was circa April 2012, it would not be out of the ordinary for the appeal hearing date to be February 2013, a matter of 10 months, see :

Do you know if a claimant can expect to be informed by the DWP if the reconsideration of a FTW decision has been unsuccessful, or do they simply pass everything over to the Tribunal service and the first the claimant then hears about it is when the appeals bundle drops through their letterbox?

Hi S,

Yes, if the adverse decision that is appealed is not changed at the automatic reconsideration stage, the claimant should be informed of this in writing. The appeal should then be sent forward to The Appeals Tribunal Service by The DWP, and you should receive an Evidence Pack. (bundle)
