I was just wondering if anyone knows about this
harpymarx.wordpress.com/2013/01/26/april...on-welfare-benefits/
www.dpac.uk.net/2012/09/changes-to-appea...ons-from-april-2013/
Does this mean if someone from April 2013 is already on Contribution based ESA support group and they are sent for a medical, and they failed the medical and they appealed, they would not get a basic rate of ESA while awaiting the appeal? that they would get nothing? unless they went onto JSA?
Or am I reading it wrong?
Would most appreciate any replies.

Hi N,
Yes we are aware of the suggested changes regarding appeals, and of the possible implications.
We will advise on this issue if/when it comes into force.

So it has not yet been put in place but it will probably be put in place at some point from April 2013 ? This would be terrible for those who have to appeal to be without nothing for weeks and weeks potentially.

Yes t,
It may have implications for claimants appealing a fit for work decision.

As previously stated, we will advise on this scenario when the time comes.

Please could you delete my name in the quotes you have taken from me in your posts and also from my own quotes in my own posts which have included my original name? I would appreciate it.
