Whilst it is possible that they will adjourn the hearing to a later date, so it is worth asking, it is far more likely that they will take the view that the appeal was made in the middle of last year, and you have had since then to collect and send in evidence for the hearing, they will not take the view that you have had one month to collect your evidence.
