But worried about this new rule coming in saying that payments will stop while reconsideration stage going on before it reaches appeal stage?
Will this ONLY be for appeals placed AFTER April and not ones already in the pipeline please?

If we put a claim in during January for an appeal against the WRAG group and trying to get into the Support Group (we haven't heard anything yet of course) will the payments continue ok. I know you said they will while you appeal as he was transferred from IB to ESA.

Hi Sl,
Yes, these new rules will only affect claimants who have to appeal after April 2013.
See Steve's news article on this here :

They will only really effect "fit for work" appeals anyway, as claimants appealing WRAG to SG will still receive WRAG Rate ESA.

I had missed this news. Many people are assigned to the WRAG instead of the Support Group, despite meeting descriptors. If that happened to me I could not afford to be without income for the appeal period. What can people do other than meekly accept a WRAG verdict?

Hi MW,
Claimants who are awarded WRAG and appeal to gain entry to The SG, will still receive WRAG rate of ESA.
I added that on to my previous post later, so you may have missed it.

Reading this sort of thing blurrs my wits. What a vile, cruel regime we are living under.
Hi MW,
Don't worry, as I said, I added it to my original post as an edit, so it may not have been there when you originally read it.
