You should get face to face advice before proceeding as you may lose the £59.50 that you are currently receiving, I think this may be the Severe Disability Premium and is usually only payable while you live alone, however, it can be retained, providing that your new living situation meets certain requirements.

Hi, I see that Gordon is dealing with your post. I just wanted to explain the way that things work on this site - to keep the site safe, all posts are pre-moderated before they are made public. How long this takes depends on how many (voluntary) moderators are online and how busy we are. That is why this post took some time to appear

Would I lose all my ESA benefit as it says
Total income related
But on the letter it says I'm entitled to both?
Would the lodger get cares allowance for me as I don't get that??

What do you mean it may be retained if I retain same living requirements

To answer your questions.
I would expect you to just lose the Severe Disability Premium (£59.50), but we cannot give detailed financial advice on the forum which is why I recommend you get face to face advice before making a decision.
Your friend can only claim Carers Allowance if they are prepared and able to provide a minimum of 35 hours of care for you a week, there are also restrictions on the amount of money that they can earn in addition to the CA, so this may well have implications that they would need to consider.
Depending on your living arrangements, it may be possible for you to be still paid the SDP, but there are strict rules about this, and again, this is something you need get face to face advice about.
