Renewal Success.

I received my DLA renewal today and was put up from Lower Care and Lower Mobility to High rate for both !!!!! Cant believe it !
I followed the advice on this site to the letter and can only say thankyou so much for the advice.
I have an outstanding appeal in September but I think I will now withdraw it so as not to rock the boat ! I am thrilled as I can now get a vehicle suitable for my needs and will actually be able to go out again. What a life saver you all are. Things are getting better for me from now on thanks to you all.

Is your appeal related to a previous DLA claim, or is it an ESA appeal? Don't do anything too hastily, you can still cancel the tribunal a little later on if it is still what you want.

My appeal is related to my previous award which i asked for to be looked at again. The result was Lower/Lower so I appealed.
One slightly strange thing is that my award letter started with "you asked us to look at your award again...' is that the usual format for a rnewal? Also the award starts from last month even tho' my current awar does not end until October. Is this usual.
