Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Getting in and out of bath Washing hair Dressing bottom half especially socks and shoes Attaching tens machine Dealing with finances |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £3842 per year |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I was medically retired after 34 years working in same job which I loved. I tried to cope for the last 4 years but struggled badly with pain & fatigue I ended up spending most of the day in the sick room. I have fatigue every day and the medication I need to take for pain can make me drowsy. With severe pain in multiple joints I can rarely get comfortable either sitting or standing and the only relief is when I lie down. Due to this brief account of only some of my difficulties, I would not be a reliable employee and any employer would, quite rightly, not benefit from me as an employee. |
