Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: My condition leaves me weakened after a few minutes of exertion, it goes away after a short rest, but then comes back after exertion, it's a very start-stop condition. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose the much needed relief to my income. I can only work part-time, believe me I have tried to work full-time, but I am left far too tired after a full days work to cook, clean and look after a house myself, let alone take care of my needs. Going part-time gives me the time I need to rest between each task and still get by, if I lost this income, honestly I don't know what I am meant to do, I am lucky to have this employer who works around my needs, you show me a part-time job that pays as well as a full-time that is willing to work with someone who needs regular, small breaks. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I am currently working. I am doing what Labour want, and I'm about to be penalised. |
Anything else to tell us: I can't go back to full-time, I feel like an adult now, managing housework, shopping any other chores, to go full-time would mean I'd need a housekeeper or carer or another adult to take care of everything else, limiting my independence. I am doing what Labour want, working, why am I being penalised? |
