( Pernicious Anaemia ) Inflammatory Arthritis in both hands.
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Unlikely
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Extreme fatigue & Exhaustion , Widespread deep muscle & joint pain, severe back pain and sciatica, sleep problems, struggle with food and cooking, washing and dressing, getting up , not possible until medication has kicked in, toilet needs and constipation, standing and walking is a problem. Holding items properly in my hands as I wear a splint and need to use aids.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose £295 month PIP standard daily living and would also go on to lose maybe Contribution ESA ( support group ) £276 every 2 weeks which could be around £11 K per year as I would not be eligible for Universal Credit. It’s absolutely terrifying !!
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I had an accident at work back in 1990 and was hit by a moving train door . I was medically retired as I was unable to work afterwards and have not worked since.
Anything else to tell us: I really hope that we get enough support to change this Green Paper . It will affect millions of innocent people and it is totally unnecessary . Why punish the most vulnerable.? I am absolutely terrified and have written to my MP. I feel there will be many suicidal cases in the future if they go ahead. It’s a massive worry for all of us.
