Nickname: lifeisastruggle
Age: 55-60
Main health condition: Mental health
Main conditions that affect daily living: emotionally unstable borderline personality disorder
anxiety
severe depression
Rate of PIP daily living component: Enhanced
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: unlikely
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: getting out of bed and dressed is a struggle, without the support of my carer i wouldn't bother.
making simple discissions almost feels impossible.
emotionally unstable personality disorder effects how i interact with other people, i can not mix with strangers and feel uncomfortable in strange places.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: PIP - £108.55 PW for daily living needs = £434.20 every 4 weeks
Universal credit LCWRA £423.27 per calendar month
approximately £10,284 per year
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: i struggle the majority of days with my illness, such is the effect of my illness any 2 days are not a like so i cannot keep to a structured time scale.
i am on medication that surpresses my mental ability and it also makes me feel very drowsy, this is not an ideal scenario when in a place of work.
Anything else to tell us: i have had several attempted suicide attempts steming over the years since i was 14...
my carer (husband) has to manage my medication and keep it locked away to prevent me from taking an overdose which i have done on several occassions...
He also has to secure our house (lock doors) to prevent me from running away and doing something silly when i'm at a low ebb....
mental illness seems to be looked down upon as an illness, ultimately it cost my daughter her life - my husband found her after she hung herself

NO PIP = NO CARER (CARERS ALLOWANCE STOPS) THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I AM STILL HERE TODAY !

I THINK IN VIEW OF THE SUPPOSED CUTS THIS WILL PUT AN EXTRA BURDEN ON THE NHS (HOSPITALS AND LOCAL MENTAL HEALTH TEAMS)
