Main conditions that affect daily living: M.E/CFS
Fibromyalgia
Ehler Danlos syndrome
Facet arthropathy
IBS
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Highly unlikely as the assessors lie enough already.
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I wake up totally exhausted and in pain every single day, its impossible for me to have any refreshing sleep. I toss and turn all night long as its painful in any position for long. I often have to get up spend a few hours sleeping in the chair, then back to bed when that hurts too much. I usually have to sleep again after around 1 hour waking. Most things i can do briefly and with constant rests , i cannot do them in succession or for very long. The fatigue in my arms for instance means folding a towel it makes my arms burn and ache and i have to stop after 30 seconds(ish) rest then try again. My gastro problems make eating difficult to the point where i have days i dont eat at all. I get constant either bloating and constipation, or explosive diarhea , often while i am eating i can have to get to the toilet , it happens that quick. There is so much more daily problems and symptoms i have to deal with , cognitive issues, i can forget what i am thinking about whilst thinking about it, i often forget what i had just decided to do.
All this with constant pain in many places. Basically when i wake up i feel like i have been beaten with a baseball bat then run over by a bus.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: Its hard to work out , currently on ESA support group with daily living PIP and severe disabilty premium as i live alone and have zero help.
So atm on £1347 a month , but expect managed migration to UC soon. if i am on UC and i lose PIP this then means i will lose any health benefits on UC i think and go down to the minimum £393.80 a month (from online benefits calculator)
So i will lose around £1000 a month, just like that.
I am currently at the point i have had enough of my daily pain and fatigue, havent been out the house to do anything fun for 10 years. So i was already trying to decide if it was worth it to carry on with this poor existence.
If these cuts go ahead, then what will be the point? Now every single day i am considering ending it all, will have to cancel even my internet as i wont be able to afford it, mobile phone will have to go so any link i have to the outside world will be gone.
Am sure i wont be missed, Rachel Reeves will have an even bigger grin as she strolls around, kmnowing she has saved a little more money , while she counts out her £7.7 million networth.
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: A huge crash making me bed bound.
I was let go due to ill health from work 10 years ago, and have steadily got worse, with more problems.
Trying to just get to and from work would cause a crash, meaning dizziness to the point i can barely stand, chest pains, breathlessness, palpitations, fatigue making it hard to walk , fatigue in arms that gets that bad i cant even work a remote control in bed. headaches, brain fog, blurred vision and more. with each successive daily compounding the problems.
Anything else to tell us: These changes are cruel and unjust and will cause many people to commit suicide, forums are already having many posting they will not be able to live with the changes. I totally agree, there will be no point struggling with all my health issues, if i then cannot afford to eat or pay bills.

There is no need to do this to us.
£85 a week....politicians spend more than that on 1 meal, that goes on the expenses.
Cruel and inhumane, shame on you for even considering these changes, should be ashamed of yourselves.
Note to rachel Reeves, stop with that smug smiling ! You will be the cause of my death, not as i have expected from my ill health.
