Nickname: Helen |
Age: 40-60 |
Main health condition: Physical health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: Mainly neurological autoimmune and non neurological autoimmune conditions |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Enhanced |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Not very lijely |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I struggle with all tasks but do not score 4 points for any. I am dependent on others for prompting to do things |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: Over 700. This would have a horrendous effect as I would have to either move back in with an abusive ex or my family who sexually abused me as a child as I would no longer be able to hire care and because I would beed someone providing care to score 4 points. Disabled women are twice as likely to suffer domestic abuse. I run a support group for Disabled women and over 2/3 of members either suffer or have suffered domestic abuse. This decision would rob women who cannot work of their independence and trap them in abusive situations |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: My health would worsen dramatically and would leave me less able to recover snd work in future |
