Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Bathing. Cooking. Walking. Sitting for too long. Wiping my bum if sciatica is bad. Holding cups and cutlery is impossible if hands are bad with arthritis pain, holding a pen is almost impossible now. Getting in and out of the bath is difficult every time but done days impossible even with help so I use incontinence wipes. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £650+ a month |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I'm not capable of driving every day and public transport is impossible in my area. Pain meds make me unstable and when taking the strong ones I cannot drive or use a cooker. I don't hear all words properly because of hearing loss and even with hearing aids all words are not caught. I have less dexterity in hands so typing or writing isn't possible for long. Incontinence issues mean I need to change clothing sometime the same if I have a bout of IBS diarrhea (that's very messy). Most seats are unsuitable as they cause too much pain. This is just a minor glimpse of daily life. |
Anything else to tell us: Stress triggers fibromyalgia flare ups and triggers C-PTSD events which can take from a week to many months to recover from. |
