Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Moving around due to extreme exhaustion and muscle weakness
Unable to stand or sit upright for long periods , difficulty dressing , getting up stairs, unable to stand to cook , lift pans
Dizziness and frequent falls , so need help with showering , getting up in night to use bathroom , unable to walk far and totally housebound , bedbound if over exert myself
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: Approx £400 per month
Rely on money to pay for help with cleaning , getting around and food and heating ( due to being housebound mist of the week, need to keep house warm) also really sensitive to temperature changes
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I'm passed retirement age so why do these changes apply to people like me
But I have been unable to work for past 10 years due to my condition , was diagnosed and supported by Neurologist in my application for Pip and deemed incapable of any kind of work , by an Occupational Health Doctor that I was referred to by my last employer, it is not expected that my condition will improve , so why do the Government disagree with these professionals
Anything else to tell us: There are many people like me who get pip in order to make life more bearable when living with disabilities - some aged 65 - 80's how are these changes relevant to them ? If the aim is to support people into work then it should not apply to those over working age who also have severe disabilities to deal with
