hi can anyone tell me if one gets a copy of the court appeal ?as i understand everything is what is said is written down,do i get a copy of this when i get an answer (dreaded brown envelope)or do i ask?or simply no you dont get a copy?
i just had my court appeal the other day via telephone link and for love or money i cant remmeber 99% of what was said to me by the panel.!got to admit waiting for the phone call was the worst part ,looking back straight after it i felt that i was being asked questions to catch me out....dont get me wrong the panel were curtious and i suppose as good as you could get but i just had this gut feeling afterwards (hope am wrong!)another thing was after writing loads of things up to how i wanted to say i got asked at the end of the interview if i had anything to say by this time i was lost as the questions which were asked were related to what i wanted to talk about and i thought best not repeat anything i ended up mentioning a few things about my medical but more as a why question to them.i think maybe it should be clearer to the claimant they can say as much as they want/need to say at the end or when ever it is their time to say anything.not too sure if i have made myself clear on the last bit for everyone
anyway it now been done and dusted and now its a case of waiting for the dreaded brown envelope to arrive
blw telephone link should also be upgraded or sorted out so that the claimant can hear with no problems what so ever .every now and then i was like they were talking in a big barrel then back to good and few seconds it sort of took ones concentration away from thinking properly
next battle is the esa 50 form which i got today!!is life great

Claimants do not normally receive the "minutes" of the hearing.
You can request the Record of Proceedings, it can take up to 3 months and sometimes longer to arrive and you need to be extremely careful in making the request that you do not also request the Statement of Reasons as this is the first stage to appealing the Tribunals Decision, a copy will be sent to the DWP as well.
