HI Guys!
Still waiting for pip;but now worrying about this.
Question 10 reading.
Do you use an aid or appliance to read other than glasses or contact lenses.
I ticked yes!
but do you think i should have ticked no!
i use a screen reader to understand (listen to words not read them)
i did mention screen reader in 10b help from another person to read or understand words;but now stressed because i feel i have answered incorrectly. I worry they wont read it thoroughly.
any opinions guys?

It's a bit difficult to answer your question without an understanding if what points you expected to score for this question, but based on your post you seem to assessing yourself as potentially scoring 2 points.
Obviously a screen reader is only usable for text on a computer, how do you manage with text in other situations?

Hi Gordon. thanks for quick response.
I was hoping for 8 points as i cant see anything;but i have got it wrong big time. I was looking for 8 points for reading (being blind0 and 4 for cooking(cant read instructions,use sharp knives,hot pans,safety,reliability etc) and a couple of others.

your first response knocked me sideways i hope this get to you before you answer my first reply; i cannot read anything text signs forms all have to be read to me screen reader reads text aloud but i cant see it.

Your latest post would suggest that you meet
e. Cannot read or understand signs, symbols or words at all. 8 points
If you explained this on the PIP2 form then the fact that you use an aid for the specific reading of text on a screen would be overridden by the fact that you cannot read or understand text out of this context.
