call from atos/capita to confirm pip medical date? was created by didsmith
sorry to trouble everyone but do atos/capita ring a claiment to confirm the date/appointment time for a face to face pip medical as well as send the information in a letter?
Reason i ask is i am unable to check my mail daily...cannot navigate the stairs to get to my communial mail box so wait for my carers to bring it up on an adhoc basis but i believe your only given 7 days notice of a face to face appointment for a medical and would really hate to loose a couple of days to get prepeared cos i havn't been able to check the mail

I'm afraid not, their normal practice is to send a letter. you are legally entitled to 7 days written notice although this includes postage time.
