As long as you remain in the SG then you can continue to receive ESA(CB)
sorry I just need to make sure I understand as it seems too good to be true and my family/friends keep telling me i'm wrong....
1) Contribution Based Esa in the SG is not means tested for savings or other income (other than health insurance/pension payments)? So any other income I had (eg gifts from family) would not affect it.
2)While ever I remain in the SG there is no way of my 'running out' of contribution based payments?
They will keep paying me Cont based payments forever if I continue to qualify for the SG. - there is no reason they would stop paying Cont based payments & start on income based ones unless I get put into the WRAG, & then only after 365 days.
Am I correct in my understanding of those two points Gordon?

thanks

Its just that nothings changed for me since I filled in the last ESA50 in Jan14, & it was a successful claim without a f2f. So the plan was to simply copy my answers pretty much word for word onto the new form which is due in Feb.
But obviously if its all changed I will need to read through the whole guide again.
The guides are brilliant & need to be very long, but I pay a really high price for any reading/concentrating so don't want to go through the whole thing again if its not necessary.
thanks

The guides normally contain an update log, but for some reason the latest ESA guides do not have one, I have a request in to the Office for the information but have not hear back yet.
