Advice please -When will we be moved over to PIP ?

Please could provide me with some advice please.
My daughter who is aged 17 and severely disabled receives DLA at the highest rate for care and mobility and I am her appointee.
I am just getting anxious about when we will be moving over to PIP and form filling / medical etc.
We received a letter today which just outlined her entitlement and at the end of the letter it stated about pip that we would be affected if “you are aged 16 to 64 on April 2013 “, which she wasn’t?
I rang the help line today and its automated message said that if you have the word UPRATING/PIP on page five of your letter that there was no need to speak with someone which we have in our letter. Anyway I waited to speak to an advisor who wasn’t able to shed any light other than to inform me that not everyone switches over to PIP and that I would just have to wait to see when I get a letter!
Should I just wait and see what happens?

Welcome to Benefits and Work

For youngsters who receive DLA as a "child" they would be invited to transfer over to PIP when they reach 16 years old.

If your daughter was awarded DLA as an "adult" when over the age of 16, she will be invited to cliam PIP sometime over the next 2-3 year period.

You do not have to instigate her transfer, as when her time comes, you will receive an "Invite" through the post.

The letter that you speak of sounds very much like the annual DLA "uprating" letter that is sent to all DLA recipients, although there is no uprating of DLA this year !!

My daughter has been awarded DLA from being very young and has an indefinate award.

Could I also ask a second question please . We are looking at residential college for to help wiht life skills etc her which we are unsure if it will be Mon - Fri or possibly the full week . In this case what would happen to her motorbility car ? would we need to return it ?
