PIP over 60

I have had a look on the forums but cannot find much information.
I am interested to know how many people in this band have been transferred effortlessly or with difficulty.
The reason I am asking is: I heard from a person who works at DWP, that although the cut off was 65 in January 2013 the DWP is only calling under 60's at the present time.

We have certainly seen a number of members invited to claim PIP who were over 65 when at the time!

Completed the Phone Interview and the PIP 2 form, had a assessment
and now waiting for a decision. Many People over 60 yrs and 65 yrs have gone through the same procedure. So I think your contact or friend at the
DWP is incorrect.

I have just been assessed for PIP and got the decision a week before my 68th birthday. Enhanced for both.
