PIP - ARE YOU ABLE TO CHANGE AN ASSESSMENT VENUE was created by Vegasmania3
Hubby has had his assessment date and venue for Cardiff which is a 120 miles round trip, has anyone been successful in changing the venue for a closer one?
One person said he could do it once, she even checked to see if there was one closer and there is and told us to ring back today, somebody else told him today that he cannot change it, she said that he had been deemed to be able to travel that distance. He asked who had made that decision and she said they must have asked your doctor! So he asked to speak to her line manager and they will contact him next Monday, we will see, she was most unhelpful.

You can change the appointment once, but must attend the new appointment or you risk his claim being closed, unless you can show that the current appointment is more than 90 minutes travel each way, in which case it should not have been issued in the first place and should not count as one of your two appointments.
