ESA Reassessment was created by OliverB
I was recently reassessed for ESA and within two weeks of the face-to-face, received a letter informing me I was being kept in the support group. At the end of the 'how your benefit is worked out' sheet, it says 'The amounts on this page apply from 27th June 2016 to 27th November 2016'. Does this mean that I will be reassessed again on/by the latter date?

I've been trying to get through on the phone to request an ESA85(A), but haven't had any luck.

Thanks

Hi Oliver and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Don't worry, the November date relates to the calculation of the Christmas bonus, it does not indicate when you will next be reassessed!

ESA, unlike DLA/PIP, is actually an indefinite award that continues until another decision is made. Nevertheless, a 'prognosis' will have been entered on your records and this is when you should expect to be reassessed. You can find this out by phoning DWP and asking for the prognosis. This will have no effect on your claim or reassessment date.

You might wish to bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future. This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your ESA without having to start a new topic each time. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place = and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Thanks.

It may be of interest to know that the date on my decision letter was just six days after the date of my face-to-face. I was prepared to wait weeks, so it was a relief to learn the outcome so soon.

Cheers
