PIP APPEAL HELP

Hello, my wife has an appeal next month, she cannot cook or prepare a meal safely or reliably due to her chronic pain in standing, twisting , walking she trips all the time, her leg also just gives way, so if she was holding hot foods in a pan etc she would not only scold herself but puts at risk our 3 children. does this warrant the statement and score cannot cook or prepare a simple meal due to safety reasons?

hi ,hope you dont mind me replying ,but ime also waiting to hear from appeal myself for pip,. i wasnt awarded any points for not being able to prepare or cook a simple meal,. i think by reading the info on how to appeal and pip guides ,,you have to explain not that you just cant prepare a meal they will want to know what prevents you from actualy being able to eg,peel vegetables etc,, ime finding it difficult myself trying to word it right and to actualy show why ime unable to do these activities, ,just as a excample ,ive wrote in my submissions, that because of my oestio athritus in my hands ime unable to hold onto ie grip ,,say a potatoe in one hand and use a peeler in the other because of the weakness in my hand and the pain it causes as my fingers actualy go stiff and then shortly after that i get numbmess then as that is subsiding the severe pain in my hand and wrists, start ,, the peeler instead of using a knife would count possibly as a aid rather then using a knife but by saying what i have hopefully they will understand that even with a peeler ime still unable to do this activity, reliebly , safely ,and in a reasonably considerd time ,, by gordon advice always remeber to use the words reliably ,safely ,,and in a timely manner when giving reason as to why you cannot do a certain activity ,,hope this helps a bit ,
