Delay in Receiving PIP Review Form(s)?? was created by Augustus
Hi

I was told by the DWP exactly two weeks ago that a form had been sent to me because my PIP review date had come up. (3 yr award with review after 2yrs.) It has not arrived.

What should I do? Wait a little longer? The 4 week clock is ticking and even if it came tomorrow, allowing for return post, I don't have much more than a week to complete it and gather extra paperwork.

When should I call them again and what to say? Would they re-issue form and extend deadline under the circumstances?

PS I ALSO READ A THREAD LAST WEEK ON THIS SITE WHICH GAVE TIPS ON DRAFTING A MAND RECON WHICH MIGHT HELP AVOID AN APPEAL.
IT GOT A GOOD RESPONSE FROM THE MOD. COULD YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW ROUGHLY THE DATE SO THAT I CAN FIND AND PASTE IT ELSEWHERE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE?

Thank you very much

A

I would chase them, just explain that you have not received the form.

There really is no need for you to post in capitals.

I'm afraid I don't remember the post, if I have time when the session closes I will see if I can find it.

You only need to add additional paperwork if your conditions have changed, no appointment letters are required only reports, if new, and a copy of your current prescription, if on meds. Took me five minutes to do.
