ESA Medical: Dr Left Room to: 'Make a call... was created by kafkaboots
At my ESA medical in Lewes yesterday, the Dr left the room two-thirds of the way through to 'make a call to someone about your claim.' It felt very strange to my careworker and myself, as though it were a 'tactic' of some sort. Overtired afterward, I even wondered if he'd been listening in to see what we had said when he left the room. (He had fiddled with the phone before he left). Is this something that has happened to others? Thanks.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
This does happen sometimes - it usually seems to be that an assessor is checking with his/her supervisor that they have enough information to recommend an award.
It will take a few weeks for your decision letter to arrive - I hope it is good news!

Yes this happened to me once during IB assessment, and was nothing to worry about, it was as Mrs H says.
