Mandatory Reconsideration ESA

I've been waiting almost 7 weeks since my MR was received, is this a normal period of time to be left on hold?

There is no set time in which DWP must complete an MR. In practice, this can take anything from a few days to many months! However, most members report getting a decision within a couple of months. If you don't hear anything soon it might be worth contacting DWP to find out what is happening.
