I went for my pip medical last week, I've been on DLA for 16 years due to severe mobility difficulties.
Prior to the medical I sent a very detailed pip2 claim form and supporting medical evidence based on all that I have learned from benefits and work, I was expecting a paper based decision.
On arrival at the face to face medical the health professional stated that he had advised his managers that a face to face would not be necessary as there was enough information from which to advise the DWP but was told by his manager that he should go ahead with a face to face anyway. Does anyone know if Atos or Capita get paid more for a face to face?
I still await the decision but am confident of the backing of the health professional.
