Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
Whilst refuting errors in the assessment report is important it will not in itself result in an award, this will only happen by you showing that you meet the criteria for one.
Are you using the Decision Makers Statement of Reasons, which comes with the Decision Letter, or have you requested and received a copy of the assessors report?
I would suggest that a good place for you to start would be for you to go through your PIP2 with our PIP Claim guide and the "report" to make sure that you have actually shown that you meet all of the elements of the PIP Descriptors.

There is also a PIP Appeal guide that explains the MR and Appeal processes in more detail.
If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.

Mine was 12 pages of type written arguments. Don't think about what they may or may not do, just provide them with information thats peoving tour case to fit into a prescriptor.
I used to look at them the next morning and then edit it a bit shorter if necessary concentrating on facts that would prove myself.
Good Luck

Susie Davies wrote: I have now finished getting all the info together for the mandatory reconsideration a letter from my consultant and physiotherapist ...as I have written the letter I have suggested what I think I should be getting as regards the a b c d etc is that likely to push there backs up ? Not too sure how far to go with all of it , but I have to have a go as it's such an injustice to us all who are genuine .the whole process has made me feel so ill .. The concentration on answering questions that really are do complex they have made it all so difficult for disabled people ,thank you for this site I hope I have done my best .
As long as you have explained why you think you meet a particular Descriptor I don't think it will be a problem, heck you are probably helping them our
