Hello,I have failed the reconsideration and am waiting for the paperwork before I send off my appeal to the tribunal.i want to be paid assessment rate during the appeal,I'm seeing the doctor but don't know how far back to get a sick note for,the DWP got my request for a reconsideration 7th oct, do I need a sicknote going back to that date????

Ideally you want a Fit Note that covers you from the day after you were found Fit for Work.
Once your appeal has been accepted by the Tribunal Service and you have received notice of this you can contact the DWP and ask to be paid the ESA Assessment rate.
