I work 33hrs per week and receive £1140 (per month) and get £556 working tax credits and £192 (per month) child benefit.. is my wife entitled to any disability premium? i am self-employed and wondering if i am entitled to any income tax deduction or carers credit towards my own national insurance stamp due to her disability?
To receive any of the Premiums she might be eligible for your wife would have to be entitled to Income Related ESA in addition to her ESA(CB), however, both your working hours and likely your income would preclude this.
There is a Disability Element with Tax Credits, but this is not a benefit we advice on, if you do an internet search for this you should be able to find details of eligibility.
For Carers Credit have a look at the following.
