I have received my PIP form today and didn't realise how hard it is to fill in and don't know were to start and what to answer, I have not got any paper work to support my claim and it will take too long to contact everybody for information, What do I do first, please help as it is so distressing for me to sort it out, Susan M K
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it? First of all read the PIP Claim guide to make sure that you understand the criteria against which you are being assessed, the PIP2 does a poor job of explaining these.
For each activity try and break it down into the issues you have, so for Preparing Food; maybe you have problems holding a knife, standing for periods of time in the kitchen and lifting pans on and off the hob. For each of these explain your problems using the formula that is included in the guide. When you're happy you have done this, transfer your answer to the PIP2.
If you have more questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
