Dental costs was created by DSP66
Hiya,
Can anyone give me advice on whether I can reclaim costs for dental treatment?
I receive PIP (standard rate) and ESA (support group) in the contribution basis. I also receive a works pension as I retired early on I'll health grounds.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Daren

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

It is possible that you may still be entitled to an HC2 which would exempt you from NHS charges.
If you are single and over 60 you would probably qualify if you have no further income or income (including ESA(C)& Pension) up to £152.20 you should qualify for HC2
If you have a Partner and one of you is over 60 and both your total income is less than £230.85 you should qualify for an HC2
If you are single, live alone and no one recieves Carers Allowance for you and your total income including ESA(C) & Pension is less than your "applicable amount" ( ESA SG component and Severe Disability Premium £170.15) you should qualify for ESA (IR) which would give you exemption from NHS charges.
