What's the point of even going on now when the tribunal have been told this.
It's pretty standard, they are expressing an opinion that does not mean that the Tribunal panel will agree. I would expect that 99% of claimants who appeal, disagree with the content of the assessment report.

Do they actually use those words in the letter?

These things never happened the end of the letter says therefore we stand by our assessor and ask you dismiss Mrs T's account. So with out actually calling me a liar they are calling me a liar.
They are favouring their own evidence, this is perfectly normal, you wouldn't be going to appeal if they preferred your evidence. This does not mean that the Tribunal panel will take the same view.
You have an opportunity in your submission to the appeal to explain why you never walk without assistance and they will ask you about this at the hearing, so you will have an opportunity to set the record straight.
