There are two parts to challenging a Decision. First you must request a Mandatory Reconsideration from the DWP, if the Decision is not revised in the claimants favour then they can request an appeal from the Tribunal Service.
In both cases you normally have one month to make the request, however, you can make a Late request up to 13 months after the Date of the Decision but will need to provide Good Cause for the request being late. In the case of an MR, if the DWP do not accept your reasons for requesting an MR late, then you cannot pursue the matter further,
