I've received a PIP decision following mandatory reconsideration, with no change in points.
In their reasons, they always refer to 'prescribed moderate pain relief' (Tramadol) to deny points. Are they suggesting that therefore pain should not affect functioning, or that the pain relief is 'moderate' so level of pain can't be that bad?

In their reasons, they always refer to 'prescribed moderate pain relief' (Tramadol) to deny points. Are they suggesting that therefore pain should not affect functioning, or that the pain relief is 'moderate' so level of pain can't be that bad?
Would be grateful for advice on this. Thank you.
Claimants are not asked to complete the PIP activities pain free but any pain that limits their ability to complete an activity should be taken into account, in addition for Moving Around, if the pain you experience is severe but you are still able to walk then you can argue that you are not walking to a necessary standard.
