Letter from doctor...still no mobility component. was created by Pip
I asked for a reconsideration by phone for my pip mobility, and within 3-4 days I had a letter come through saying I had been declined after looking at my pip form (which states that I can't use buses among saying other things)
But I had got my medical evidence ready so I phoned them up again and sent in some medical evidence saying I get lost in unfamiliar environments due to cognitive problems.
What needed to be on the letter to score 'can not follow the route of a familiar journey?'
What exactly is a journey? I rarely go out.

This activity is about your being able to follow or more accurately navigate a route to an unfamiliar place. It is about being able to understand where you are at any point in the journey and being then able to decide what the next part of the route would be. It's also being able to navigate the route safely, so for example finding appropriate places to cross a road.
A route is a set of instructions that enables some to get from one place to another, for example from your home to your local supermarket.
If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.

Thank you.
So what's the difference between planning a journey
And
Following a journey?

Planning a journey is the process of working out how to get from one place to another, the person does not need to be able to undertake the journey that they have planned.
Following a route, is as described in my previous post, using a set of instructions to actually go from one place to another.
