ATOS at Vauxhall: "We never have enough assessors"

ATOS at Vauxhall: "We never have enough assessors" was created by nick h.
When I went for my medical at the ATOS Vauxhall office I was told my assessment would have to be rescheduled because of a lack of assessors. The lady at the front desk said they never have enough, so people should arrive half an hour early if they don't want to be turned away. I rang the DWP and ATOS and told them what the lady had said to me - they didn't seem bothered. According to ATOS my new appointment was confirmed in a letter sent 10 days ago. But it hasn't arrived.

I'm afraid it is common practice for all the Assessment Providers to over book.
You say that you have not received the letter, do you have details of the appointment?

How long did you wait for assessment in Vauxhall thats our local ATOS office as well so we know the timescale..thank you

6 weeks. I returned the claim form on 17 Feb and the assessment was supposed to be on 31 March. The new date is 18 April.
