Tribunal or not was created by Janet hibbs
I have been awarded standard rate daily living, 9 points,,and standard rate mobility 10 points, following a mandatory Reconsideration. The original decision gave me 4 points on each, and my DLA was stopped. As the mobility award is less than my original DLA, I am now worse off and am considering taking the matter to Tribunal. If I were to loose my PIP, I could not reapply because of my age. Have any other members been to Tribunal and had their award reduced or stopped..I have used the B&W site throughout the process, but I am not confident in facing a Tribunal without representation.

The decision to appeal has to be yours but I can tell you that the Judge of a Tribunal hearing must warn you if they believe that your current award is at risk so that you can withdraw your appeal.
The first question you need to ask yourself is whether you can reasonably score the extra points for a higher award. Have a look at the PIP Claim for details of the criteria that you will need to show that you meet.
