What happens to PIP after 64? was created by poppycat52
On transfer from DLA to PIP my partner was awarded high rate care for 10 years, but not mobility (he had to return motability vehicle). He is 68 now. Should he at some point ask for his claim to be reassessed because of his worsening condition would the reassessment include the possibility of regaining the mobility part or is mobility lost now forever. Hope this makes sense.

I've moved your post to it's own topic, you've posted in a topic from three years ago!

I'm afraid the Mobility component cannot be awarded as new if the claimant is over 65 or over, even if they meet the criteria for an award.
