Hi, I applied over the telephone for the transfer from DLA to PIP on Wednesday after receiving the letter saying my DLA was to end. Please could you tell me how long I can expect to wait before the form arrives now. Also, when the form is returned I intend to send it recorded delivery, how long can I then expect to wait for a face to face appointment ? I understand that timescales can vary, but was just wondering if you could roughly comment please. Thank you
Appointments are quite variable, the DWP are quoting six weeks but we know of some areas where it may only be 2-3 weeks and Capita in the East Midlands could be 8-9 weeks.
