DLA to PIP success

I've just sent off my letter for mandatory reconsideration. After lifetime higher care and mobility on DLA I was awarded after assessment standard daily living and enhanced mobility. 9 points and 12 respectively.
When the copy of the report arrived my assessor a nurse had ignored what I'd said, lied about tests she said she did and hadn't and lied about how I walked when she hadn't asked me. I was lucky my partner was with me. Have now sent off using information from here nine pages of where I disagree in the hope I might be one of the 20% to be successful otherwise it'll be tribunal. Given the length of time tribunals take I shall probably be 65 then and needing to claim attendance allowance instead.
Apparently because I don't have specialist support, despite giving her details of my next consultants appointments I don't qualify. Because I take medication and then show no symptoms that means that condition doesn't count, surely that just means it's controlled?
I'm glad that I found this site and have the full support of my partner to get through all of this but what happens to those that don't have support.

As you have an award this will continue past the age of 65 and as long as you continue to meet the criteria for PIP. There is no need for you to claim Attendance Allowance.
